
Michael Pierce is the co-founder and President of Prodesse Property Group. Michael has over 30 years experience managing property in California and Washington. He has been active in the management, operation, acquisition, renovation and construction of apartments since 1979. Prior to founding Prodesse Property Group, Michael was a member of the management team at Essex Property Trust in Palo Alto, California.
Michael served as the 2009 President of the California Apartment Association (CAA) and has been active on the CAA Board of Directors for over 18 years. He also has been a member of the Board of Directors of the CAA Tri-County Division since 1991 and served as its President in 1997. Michael also serves on the Board of Directors of the St. Francis Center and the San Mateo County Colleges Educational Housing Corporation.
In addition, Michael holds the designation of Certified Property Manager from the Institute of Real Estate Management and is also a frequent public speaker on the subject of rental housing management, operations and ethics. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Lynn Pierce is the co-founder and Vice-President /CFO of Prodesse Property Group. Lynn is responsible for the management accounting and financial reporting for Prodesse Property Group. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has been active in the accounting profession since 1983. Prior to founding Prodesse Property Group, Lynn was the audit manager for Hemming Morse CPAs, a regional CPA firm in San Mateo, California.
Her experience encompasses management consulting, computer operations, general accounting, tax planning, tax preparation, and auditing.
Lynn currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Housing Industry Foundation (HIF) a non-profit charity supported by the apartment, real estate and building industries. The HIF's mission is to help individuals and families remain in or return to stable housing. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the St. Francis Center a non-profit organization whose focus is helping needy families in the Redwood City area, helping them to live in dignity and become self-supporting members of the community.
Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics-Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Lynn has served as a director for the San Mateo Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Accounting Principals and Auditing Standards Committee of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
