The company's name is derived from the Latin verb prodesse, whose meaning is "to do good" or "to excel." Following from the Latin root, Prodesse's mission is to provide responsive, innovative service designed to help each individual client meet their specific investment goals and objectives.
The company was founded in 1993 to provide professional management services exclusively for the owners of income properties. Today we manage over $350,000,000 in real estate assets in Northern California.

In 2005 the principals of Prodesse Property Group founded Prodesse Investments, Inc. to offer our clients an opportunity to participate in exceptional real estate investments. The Prodesse Team has over 75 years combined experience in the acquisition and management of real estate investments including property management, renovation, re-positioning and finance.
Prodesse Investments seeks out investments that offer the opportunity to add value while minimizing risk and maximizing return. Since its inception, Prodesse Investments, Inc. has successfully closed four Silicon Valley acquisitions and completed the sale of it's first acquistion producing returns in excess of 52% for its investors over the 3-year holding period.

This civic concern is exemplified in Prodesse's active support of affordable housing through its support of the Housing Industry Foundation, assistance to the Daughters of Charity Ministry in their operation of the Carriage Manor Apartments in East Palo Alto, and assistance to the St. Francis Center in their operation of the St. Clare Apartments in Redwood City.
